Coach Libby has been nominated for the Australian of the Year. She is an all-star in our eyes, and we are very happy for her well earned homerun!

Today we are proud to announce that Libby is offically, a Victorian nominee for the 2022 Australian of the Year Awards!

She has been nominated in the "Young Australian of the Year" category.

From a pile of entries she has been selected along with 3 other finalists- all doing such incredible work in their communities.

She is truly humbled by this acknowledgment of her work and in awe of the other people selected for this award.

For a 16 year old to be Top 4 nominees in the state for this award, is truly an incredible achievement alone and something we super, super proud of.

Recognition like this only comes because of the amazing support of all of her followers. Without you all, she would not be able to do the work that she does. It also would not be possible without each and every wildlife carer or rescuer that she has met over the years. Each one of you, motivate and inspire her work.

The official recipient of this award will be announced early next month and we will let you all know, but for now, we celebrate and thank everyone that has made such an incredible honour, possible.
