The amazing team at the South Australia Jet Ski Club took on the Kangaroo Island crossing last weekend

Rex has done this trip with them before and for anyone that has even been across on the ferry knows that the weather / wind needs to be near on perfect to make the trip safe

The trip was an amazing success and the group do the run as a prelude fundraising effort for The Big Ride

This year they raised and incredible $2,175 that has been donated to MND South Australia through The Big Ride

All systems are go!
The fuel costs might be a bit high and the water levels might be a bit low.
Let’s not forget why we’re doing The Big Ride! It’s all about living your life the best you can every day and enjoying it while you’re here.
This means that we’re still going ahead and will see you in Albury very soon!

The Big Ride crew are so excited and grateful to Tom, Sarah & the Woolshed Brewery team for hosting us again in 2026

They are opening their doors to everyone to enjoy their facilities, have a bevy or 2 & support our incredible cause

We are excited to have a team of riders from NSW joining us on The Big Ride 2026.

Thanks to this the team have been working with Kym Motor Neurone Disease NSW to set up a donation page for anyone in NSW wanting to support their home stage.

Thank you to the NSW crew, Kym and everyone involved at MND NSW for their incredible support of the Ride.

The Big Ride '26 raises funds for MND NSW, MND SA and MND VIC to support families facing motor neurone disease. The 2000km challenge will see those taking part travel on jetski from Albury NSW to Goolwa SA, navigating one of the worlds greatest river systems, whilst raising awareness about MND and ...

While The Big Ride is a lot of fun, 9 days on the water, covering over 2000+ kms is by no means without its physical and mental challenges

This is nothing compared to what those diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease goes through

The Big Ride is supporting MND SA, NSW & Vic to help support families to keep their loved ones at home and live as comfortably as they can within their familiar surroundings, not in a hospital bed

By donating to this cause through The Big Ride link your money helps fund by the equipment needed

Those riding can set up their own donation page or donations can go direct to the event.

All funds on this site go direct to MND SA
