The Longwarry Football Netball Club is deeply saddened by the passing of Life Member Ray Serong.

Ray was a true clubman and a big part of the Crows/Blues family for many decades! As a dedicated football trainer, he was always there for the players — first to lend a hand and always looking after everyone both on and off the field.

Ray will be remembered for his loyalty, his passion for the game and the many, many friendships he built along the way. Ray will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Our thoughts are with the entire Serong family during this tough time.

Rest in peace Ray, you were an amazing man💙❤️💛

A special congratulations to JB on reaching an incredible 300 games for the Crows. Your commitment, loyalty and dedication to the club over the years has been outstanding, and this milestone is a true reflection of everything you have given to the club.

INDIGENOUS ROUND 2026🖤💛❤️

This weekend was about more than football and netball. Indigenous Round gave us the opportunity to recognise, celebrate and honour the cultures, histories and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

It was a powerful reminder of the importance of connection, respect and understanding. Through sport, we were able to come together, celebrate First Nations cultures and reflect on the ongoing journey towards reconciliation.

A huge thank you to Catani Football & Netball Club for embracing the spirit of the round and helping make it such a special occasion. Your support and involvement were greatly appreciated🔥🙌🏻

Rounds like this show the positive impact sport can have in bringing people together, creating meaningful conversations and celebrating the rich cultures that are an important part of our nation’s story🖤💛❤️
