This time last year the AeroMedia team were on their way to Hobart to cover the finish of the Rolex Sydney to Hobart.
This shot of Super maxi Comanche was taken at first light, just before we started live-streaming their work up the Derwent to the finish line .
AeroMedia was packed and ready to go again this year but unfortunately for the first time in 75 years, the race was cancelled due to the impact of COVID-19 and the Cruising Yacht Club Of Australia consideration for the safety of competitors, members and staff as well as the health and welfare of the people of NSW and Tasmania.
Oh well, I guess there's always next years race.....
