The success of a campdraft starts with the cattle, and this weekend's competition was a testament to the quality of the stock provided by Georgina Pastoral Co.
Drafting one line of cattle for an entire campdraft is becoming increasingly rare, but to do it with cattle of this calibre is something truly special. From the first run to the last, competitors were presented with cattle that gave everyone an opportunity, rewarded good horsemanship and produced some outstanding campdrafting.
The scoreboard tells the story. The sheer number of 90-plus scores posted across the weekend speaks volumes about the quality and consistency of the cattle on offer.
But the contribution of Georgina Pastoral Co. extends far beyond supplying cattle. Peter, Jane, their family and staff are always willing to lend a hand wherever it is needed. Whether it's helping the committee in the lead-up to the event, assisting throughout the weekend, or quietly getting jobs done behind the scenes, their support is unwavering and invaluable.
Events like ours simply don't happen without people who are prepared to roll up their sleeves and pitch in, and the Georgina Pastoral Co. team do exactly that year after year.
