Third Eye races at Maryborough today. She had a few issues leading up to her first 2 runs back where she was very disappointing. She seems to have recovered from the virus and looks a million dollars.
She meets a handy field and drew the widest gate so just hoping she is getting home well at the finish as she will probably end up near the rear of the field in running.

Frankie has his first start for 2024 after winning his previous start to break his maiden and picking up his Vicbred bonus.
This is a stronger race but hopefully he continues to put his best foot forward and run well. 10.38pm.

Frankiethefrenchman was a bit stiff being beaten a whisker tonight after returning to our care last week.
Importantly he was on his best behaviour after breaking his last couple of runs.
We will keep trying to crack that maiden for his patient owners!

Hillside is first up today at Gunbower drawn 7. It's a handy field and he will need the run so not expecting too much. Hopefully he will be charging home late from the rear.

A fitting way for Penny to close out her season with a win in the Graeme Lang trotters mile. She did it comfortably with plugs in. She will go for a well earned break 😁

Third Eye (Penny) contests the 2yo trotting fillies Breeders Crown final tonight. She meets a quality field but hopefully she can put her best foot forward.
Billy Zippin goes around in the boys final the race before at 10.15pm. He has trained on well this week after running well in the heat after an early mistake.
Good luck Norm and Joan Visca who own both trotters.

We recently welcomed this little girl into the world. First foal out of our Art Major mare Shecandoit (Jessie).
Jessie was lucky enough to have an easy birth, but was just a bit reluctant to let her drink at first but soon became a doting Mum.
"Coco" has really thrown to dad Ultimate Machete in her looks (Dad pictured right).

Third Eye (Penny) and Hold That Gold (Angus) contest the Vicbred Silver tonight at Kilmore.

Due to a programming bungle, both runners are denied a chance to run in the Vicbred Finals where they are both emergencies as they have run the consolations 2 days before the final.

This means we cannot find out if any scratchings bring us into the final before the silver is run.
A horse is not allowed to run in both silver and final and it is a big risk to scratch from silver in the hope that there is a scratching Saturday for the final. So silver it is and hopefully they are on their best behaviour!!
