Last night was a great night of celebrating tennis for life at Wellington Gippsland Tennis Association gala dinner. Thank you to those that organised the event and those who joined the celebrations.

Also big congratulations to our Longford President Jaclyn Hamilton and senior player Pete Chappell for their lifetime awards.

It was a big weekend of tennis with Saturday pennant resuming and the Wellington Gippsland Tennis Association championships on.

There are 4 more weeks of pennant before finals.

We were well represented across the championships with juniors and seniors playing. Congratulations on everyone’s effort and representation of Longford Tennis Club. It was a fun day even with the weather turning windy and stormy at times.
