A country netball club. You can find us next to the lovely green oval (home of the United Football Club) approximately 15km west of Mallala, 13km north of Dublin, 36km south of Balaklava, 13km south-west of Owen. We play in the Adelaide Plains Netball Association competition from April to September every year. Our Registration and Trials start in January/February of each year
Our AGM is held on th

e second Monday in October at the United Football Club Rooms. We are always looking for Volunteers to Umpire, Time, Score and fill any roles through out the season. We can roster you on for one game or as many as you would like. Many hands make light work!

IT’S PRELIM FINAL TIME FOR OUR 13As!!

Our girls are heading to Lochiel to battle it out against Hummocks on their home turf for a spot in next week’s Grand Final up for grabs! 🏐

After a huge season so far, it all comes down to this one. We know our girls will give it absolutely everything, and now they need YOU behind them! Come along, pack the sidelines and make some noise for our U13A girls! 📣

Last night we had the pleasure of celebrating some of our wonderful Tigs at the 2026 APNA Presentation Night.

We also had the opportunity to celebrate our 2026 APNA Country Championships representatives, we are so proud to see so many Tigs representing our Association and our club. We hope you're all incredibly proud of it and everything you achieved. 🫶

And finally, we were very proud to see Ali Sharman recognised as Long Plains' nominee for the inaugural APNA Volunteer of the Year Award. 💛

While Ali didn't come away with the award, that doesn't change for a second how deserving we believe she was of the nomination or how incredibly grateful we are for everything she gives to Longies.

Coach. Committee member. Umpire. Our Country Championships rep. A1 player. Mum two young girls who are already making their own mark on the court.

It's not just how much she does that makes her special to our club, but the way she does it.

People like Ali are the heart of community netball, and we are incredibly lucky that she's part of ours. 💛🖤

Congratulations to all our Tigs recognised last night. Seeing our players and volunteers celebrated at Association level makes us incredibly proud.

THANK YOU, LEGENDS! 🖤💛

A huge thank you to all the wonderful people who gave up part of their Sunday to come out and help with our Grand Final Working Bee.

Hosting a Grand Final is a pretty big job, and there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes to get our courts and facilities ready for the day. We’re incredibly lucky to have people who are willing to roll up their sleeves, grab a broom, shovel, pressure washer— or whatever else was thrown their way — and get stuck in!

An amazing amount was achieved and the place is looking so much better thanks to you all. These are the jobs that aren’t particularly glamorous (and definitely aren’t how most people would choose to spend their Sunday! 😂), but they make such a difference to our club.

There are still a couple of jobs we didn’t quite manage to finish, with a list left in the shed. If you have a spare bit of time and can tick one off, we’d be incredibly grateful.

Thank you again to everyone who helped — we really can’t thank you enough. It takes a lot of hands to get a club ready for a day like this, and we couldn’t do it without our people. 💛🖤
