Dear Gullies far and wide, young and old,

As the end of the financial year approaches, now is the perfect time to support the future of The Entrance District Cricket Club while also taking advantage of a valuable tax deduction ! 💸

The Gulls have partnered with the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF), allowing our supporters to make tax-deductible donations directly to our TEDCC development fund supporting both our Men's and Women's programs, which indirectly supports the growth of our Juniors.

These programs play a vital role in the continued growth and success of our club. Donations help provide coaching resources, equipment, player development opportunities, recruitment initiatives and the infrastructure required to ensure our teams continue to thrive.

The immediate focus is ensuring our fees do not increase from last year, securing the best senior and junior coaching for the Winter pre-season programs and establishing our newly constructed Club Room at Jubilee.

All donations made through the Australian Sports Foundation are fully tax deductible and an official tax receipt is issued immediately upon donation.

📢 Boys U16 Regional Academy Squad Announced 🏏

Congratulations to the players selected in the Boys U16 Central Coast Cricket Association Regional Academy Squad for the 2026/27 season.

This Academy program is designed to provide a structured development pathway for talented U16 players looking to transition into higher-level senior cricket and push towards future representative opportunities, including potential Bradman Cup selection.

Coach David Winiata and Assistant Coach Phil Melville will be driving this excellent program.

We look forward to seeing this fantastic group in action.

🏏🎖️ CONGRATULATIONS RAY DAVIDSON OAM 🎖️🏏

The Entrance District Cricket Club is incredibly proud to congratulate Life Member Ray Davidson on being awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the General Division in the King’s Birthday 2026 Honours List.

Ray has been recognised for his outstanding service to the sport of cricket and to the Central Coast community, with the award announced today by Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of Australia. The Order of Australia is the nation’s highest recognition of outstanding achievement and service to Australia and its communities.

Ray’s contribution to TEDCC has been nothing short of remarkable. As a player (attached pictured with his son in 2013), administrator, sponsor and Life Member, his dedication, passion and generosity have helped shape our club into what it is today.

Following his retirement from his owned and operated business, Ausiports, a long-time supporter and sponsor of TEDCC, Ray has continued to give back to the community through various other means, including but not limited to, his volunteer work with The Bikers Hand, a charity providing essential support to locals doing it tough.

On behalf of everyone at The Entrance District Cricket Club, we thank Ray for his decades of service, commitment and leadership. This honour is richly deserved, and we are proud to call him one of our own.

The Entrance District Cricket Club is proud to announce Dharma Philips as our newest Life Member!
Dharma’s contribution to the club spans over two decades, including 20 seasons and more than 200 games, where he has cemented himself as one of the club’s finest spin bowlers. A premiership player and respected teammate, his impact on the field has been outstanding.
Off the field, Dharma’s dedication has been even greater—serving as Club President, playing a key role in growing our junior numbers, and leading successful grant applications that have significantly improved our facilities.
Dharma truly embodies our club values of Club First, Team Second, Self Last, and his passion and commitment have helped shape the strong position our club is in today.

Congratulations Dharma on this well-deserved honour! 👏💙
