🐠 Meet Clark’s Anemonefish (Amphiprion clarkii)!
This beautiful fish is one of the largest and most adaptable clownfish species in the world. It lives among sea anemones, which provide a safe home and protection from predators. In return, the fish helps keep the anemone clean and may even attract food for it.
Unlike the famous “Nemo,” Clark’s anemonefish can have many different color patterns, ranging from bright yellow and orange to dark brown or almost black. It can grow up to 15 cm (6 inches) long and is found throughout the warm waters of the Indo-Pacific, including Australia.
One of the most fascinating facts is that all clownfish are born male. If the dominant female dies, the largest male changes s*x and becomes the new female.
