Sometimes in this sport the results don’t reflect the true effort & commitment made by all involved
First event since Gympie last year, some nerves & rust to begin with but that was put aside with a great opening stage then unfortunately on the second stage we misjudged the swept line & found ourselves running wide & bellying out on the edge of road which took us a lot of time to dig ourselves out & this resulted in a DNF for the heat with no mechanical failure or a scratch on the car … very frustrating!
Fortunately rules allowed us to rejoin Heat 2 for the ARC on Sunday & Heat 2 & 3 of the QRC. We had a few niggling mechanical issues but we pushed ahead & managed the following results:
