Our Senior boys have already sold-out of wood twice, and despite their aching backs (and a few sore heads), they're sacrificing another Sunday morning to chop more.

🐯💛 500Km for Alex - It's almost showtime! 💛🐯
8am SATURDAY 11 JULY

Tomorrow, seven of our Lobethal U18 footballers – Oscar, Sebe, Gus, Marrakai, Tom, Paddy and Jordie – along with school mates Millan, Darcy and Henry, will take on an incredible challenge: running 500km in 24 hours for their friend Alex Kain, as she bravely battles Stage 3 Childhood Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

Starts: 8am Saturday | Finishes: 8am Sunday

Come down to cheer them on, grab a sausage or some fairy floss, buy some raffle tickets or simply show your support. Every donation and encouraging word will help keep these boys going. Bring you thickest jacket - as it's gonna be a cold one!

Amazing turn out at the Flag Raising Ceremony on Thursday leading into the Indigenous Round today.

A big thank you to the Lions Club of Onkaparinga Inc. for their donation towards our new flag poles, that now stand side by side flying the Australian and Aboriginal flags visible from both our oval and courts. We appreciate Bek Ridley for the acknowledgement of country, and our flag raisers Rob Zadow, representing our sports clubs, and Cynthia Wyland for the Lions.

With Lobethal Football Club wearing their indigenous gurnseys today, and Lobethal Netball Club wearing their indigenous dresses and bibs, we are proud that our flags now show the support of everyone at our clubs and our wider community.

Lastly a thank you to everyone for their support and help with our flag poles. A great way to welcome all to Tiger Land 💛🖤
