A friendly reminder that entry to the day use area of our private park is now $10.00 per vehicle.

During office hours (8am - 5pm) we ask that you please park in the designated car parking at the front of the office (not across the boat and check-in bay) and pop into the Office + Kiosk to pay your entry fee before entering the park.

If you're a boaty and wanting to access the boat ramp outside of hours, remember to bring along $10.00 in gold coins so that you can use the outside of office hours coin operated boom gate.

Join Our Team at Lake Lyell Recreation Park!

Are you looking for a rewarding casual opportunity amidst the beauty of nature? Lake Lyell Recreation Park, an 11-hectare bushland campground nestled on the picturesque foreshore of Lake Lyell and just 10 minutes from Lithgow, is seeking a casual team member.

This role primarily involves casual hours every second weekend, from Friday to Sunday, and during school holidays and peak periods (Christmas-New Year and Easter Holidays).

As a vital part of our team, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service and addressing guest inquiries.
- Efficiently processing guest reservations and check-ins.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of our park by performing daily cleaning tasks of all amenities and common areas.
- Preparing short-order and assorted hot food and beverages for our guests.
- Handling cash and POS processing with accuracy.

If you're passionate about tourism and enjoy helping people make the most of their camping holiday, we'd love to hear from you!

Essential
- Extensive customer service experience
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Sound problem-solving skills and initiative
- Basic computer skills

Desirable
- Experience in using online reservation systems i.e. RezExpert, Newbook, RMS etc
- Experience working in the tourism/hospitality industry
- Previous cleaning experience would be an advantage
