The Lindenow Bowls club is saddened to hear of the passing of one of our members, Greg Broughton.

Greg was a well liked, active clubman and will be missed by all.

Greg’s funeral service will be held at Stephen Baggs Chapel at 2pm Friday 14th August.

We send our deepest condolences to Greg’s wife Renae and family.

Last night the club held its annual presentation night at the Bairnsdale RSL. Thankyou to all who attended. Congratulations to all award winners for the past season.
In summary the club had a successful season on the greens with 2 of our 3 weekend pennant teams progressing through to finals. Our midweek team displaying marked improvement as the season went on. Well done to Kathy, Nigel, and Steve for being selected to represent the Gippsland Bowls Region in Ballarat earlier in the year.

Congratulations also to Amanda and her Wednesday night barefoot bowlers, another successful season was enjoyed by all who participated.

Our annual ANZAC Fours 2 day tournament on the 18 & 19 of April is filling fast. It has excellent prize money paying to fourth for such a small field - 14 teams.
There will be a reserve list for those teams who miss out when the last spots are filled.
