Great opportunity for Australian boxers to compete within the Pacific region

Due to a pull out of Leo Nicholson we are looking for a Super Heavyweight boxer 92kg plus to fight in the Maco Nena Challenge in Tahiti

The Boxer would need to fly out Monday May 25th and return June 1st and hold a valid passport.

The boxer needs to pay for flights but accommodation, transfers and food is covered.

Winning the title includes prize money (approx. $1,250.00 AUD)

Guy Moon is the Australian coach and will be travelling with two other boxers.

The boxer may be able to take their own coach. Same deal pay for flights and everything else looked after.

To all Victorian Coaches & Boxers,

We are now doing our selections for the Victorian Team to attend this year's AABLI National Titles in Queensland.

If you would like to nominate a boxer we will need the following information

Full Name (as per ID)
Date of Birth
Age as at Thursday 20th November
Male or Female
Weight Division (as per AABLI rule book)
Fight Record
T-shirt size

And if known date of serology and fitness tests

This year we will only be taking a maximum of two boxers per division and they must be passed by the VABL selection committee. In some cases boxers may be required to compete in an elimination bouts prior to being included on the team.

The deadline for nominations is Friday October 31st. If elimination bouts cannot be arranged in divisions prior to this date where there are more than two boxers the selection committee will decide which boxers to send.

Boxers on the team will be expected to attend State training leading up to the event (country boxers will be required to attend at least one session)

Boxers & coaches will be expected to wear the State Team polo top and must compete in the VABL approved boxing uniform.

This event will feature novice and regular amateur bouts with interstate and title fights on the line

Matchmakers Nick & Geoff will be away in Tahiti from Sept 14th for the Oceania Championships but will be actively matchmaking whilst away.
