Definitely one of the most challenging years to coach with such a huge intake into our U18s age group. The largest 18s squad for over 15 years at the club with over 40 registered players. Unfortunately, couldn't get all the boys together for a squad photo due to work, holidays and being sick but nonetheless, the club and coaching staff are super proud of every one of these boys!

Phenomenal game from our U18 Silver boys today. Left it all out there and defended their line with grit and determination. The effort and positive attitude was evident in all the critical areas of the game, and the result was a great reflection of that. The defensive effort was awesome from #1 through to #18 today. Great work boys! Not a bad effort for a bunch of boys that have come together in the last few weeks! 🤜🏾🤛🏾 🔴⚪️🦅

A huge effort from our boys who showed comradery and trust throughout the game, defending their hearts out after leaking early points to Mt Annan. With a focus on completion in our tackles, and completing our sets, the boys built a foundation to be able to put a few tries together off the back of good field position and shape. Still plenty to work on with the goal of being consistent.

It was great to finally get back out on the paddock after the recent wet weather. It was always going to be tough against the top of the table Camden Rams. We took the early lead in the arm wrestle, executing after the first error if the game. However, unforced errors saw us hand over the ball to a hungry Camden team who didn't need their cause to be helped.

The game was a grind throughout with a few moments that cost us. Great game overall! Definite development and improvement with plenty to take away and work on. Till we meet again ... 🤜🏾🤛🏾

It was always going to be a tough slog with new combinations, players out of position and playing short up until the morning of. That said, the boys put in the effort to stay in the fight for the first half. Fatigue kicked in and an impressive Narellan outfit raced away with the scoreline. We'll aim to continue to work on the 1%ers and fundamentals.
