Lethbridge Cricket Club is excited to welcome Matilda Waddington to the nest for the 2026/27 season πŸ¦œπŸ’šπŸ’›

Matilda spent time with us last season, where she also lined up for Brown Hill Cricket Club, and made a great impression β€” so we’re thrilled to have her officially on board.

Before the season kicks off, Matilda is heading overseas to take on her maiden UK cricket season with Stratford Cricket Club πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ β€” an awesome opportunity and one we know she’ll make the most of.

We wish her all the very best for the UK summer and can’t wait to see her back in Rosella colours πŸ”₯

The Lethbridge Cricket Club is deeply saddened by the loss of one of our own, Maureen Dillon nee Scanlon.

A cherished part of our club and community, Maureen brought warmth, kindness and spirit that will be remembered by so many.

A proud mother, grandmother and matriarch of the Dillon family, her impact and legacy will continue to be felt both on and off the field.

She will always be part of the fabric of our club β€” in the memories shared, the stories told, and the spirit of the Rosellas

Our thoughts are with the Dillon and Scanlon families.

Rest peacefully, Maureen

🦜🏏GRAND FINAL – 2nd XI🏏🦜

A tough result on the big stage, with the boys falling to Marshall in the Grand Final.

Marshall set the benchmark at 7/187, and while we battled hard, we couldn’t quite build the partnerships needed, eventually finishing on 114.

Jake Alford (33) led the way with the bat, supported by Sam Hickleton (22) and Ricky Pece (16), as the middle order dug in and fought to keep us in the contest.

With the ball, it was a disciplined team effort.
Skipper Toby Spiller led from the front, well supported by Ricky Pece (2) and Sam Hickleton (2) as the group stuck to the task all day.

In the field, Fleecey stood tall, taking a pair of quality catches that highlighted his experience and composure when it mattered most πŸ‘

While the result didn’t go our way, there’s a lot to be proud of.
A Grand Final appearance is no small achievement, and this group has built a strong foundation through effort, resilience and belief.

We’ll take the lessons, hold our heads high, and come back stronger.

One club. One dream. πŸ’šπŸ’›β€οΈπŸ¦œ

Get down, get loud, and get behind the boys as they chase premiership glory.

One club. One dream. 🦜πŸ”₯πŸπŸ’šπŸ’›β€οΈ
