🏆 Victorian League Championship Weekend Recap 🏆
What a huge weekend of tennis for our Section 11 Deuce of Hazard and Section 12 Hit for Brains teams!
Saturday results:
Hit for Brains came out strong, winning both of their matches 3 sets to 1
Deuce of Hazard had a tough start, going down 1–3 in their first match before an incredibly close second match that finished 2 sets all, narrowly losing on games.
Sunday – final group matches:
Hit for Brains continued their dominant form with another 3–1 win, finishing top of their group!
Deuce of Hazard bounced back brilliantly to secure their first win 3–1, finishing 3rd in their group.
Grand Final:
Leopold Hit for Brains battled it out in a thrilling final, with all four sets being split.
Unfortunately, we fell just short on total games, going down 22–28.
Despite the result, it was an incredible effort and a fantastic weekend of competition from everyone involved. So proud of both teams and the way they represented Leopold
