Every time your child sees you show up, move your body, try again, and prioritise your health, they’re learning what normal looks like. Not perfection. Not punishment. Just a strong, healthy relationship with movement that can last a lifetime.

One workout won’t change your life.
Just like one protein-rich meal won’t change your life.
Neither will one early night or one walk.

On their own, they seem insignificant.
But that’s the thing about habits - they COMPOUND.

Think about money in a bank account. The small deposits don’t seem like much at first but then one day you look back and realise how much has accumulated.

I’ve watched women spend months building habits before they see any noticeable change.
They learn to show up, to prioritise themselves and to keep going when motivation disappears.

And then suddenly, people start noticing the result. But what they don’t see are the hundreds of small decisions that came before it.

The workout that was done when they were tired.
The meal prep on a busy Sunday, juggling kids parties + activities. 
The decision to come to training instead of staying home, catching up on the never ending housework. 
The choice to start again after a rough week even if it feels they have fallen off track.

At FUEL, we don’t focus on being perfect.
We focus on building habits that are repeatable + sustainable.
Because motivation will come and go.
Life will get busy, kids will get sick and work will be stressful.

But when you’ve built strong habits, you don’t need to rely on motivation.
You have something far more powerful = Consistency. And consistency takes time.

When you stop chasing motivation and start building habits, everything changes - including your LIFE.

Whatever hat I need to wear so Mum can get her movement in - and I will put it straight on! 🎩 🧢 👒

I know how life-changing exercise can be when you’re navigating motherhood.

I know what it’s like to be exhausted, touched out, overwhelmed, and trying to find a tiny piece of yourself amongst the chaos of motherhood.

I haven’t just “been there”.
I AM there.
Navigating motherhood just like you all, trying to get in the movement because I know it will make me feel better, healthier, stronger and help me show up for my family.

Which is why I take my job so seriously. Not just as the coach, but as all the other things that come with what I do + offer my community

I feel like what I offer is very special, and not something you see everywhere and because of that, I’ve been able to build trust with my beautiful mums and also the little ones.

Enough trust that they will come to me when they need a cuddle or a snack opened. Enough trust to get to hold the tiny babies and settle them when they are sad. Enough trust to just be a positive presence + help everyone to feel safe.

If opening snacks helps you finish off your reps, I’ll open the snacks 🤍

If holding your baby for 10 minutes helps you feel like you again, then hand them over 🤍

And if sitting on the ground, with three kids piled into my lap for a cuddle means you get to have a breather and calmer version system, then I’m there 🤍

I’m not here to just be your coach, I’m here to support you in whatever way you need - with exercise AND motherhood 🤍

HAPPY GLOBAL RUNNING DAY 🫶🏻

This morning I was invited to the waterfront for a 6km run + coffee with a whole bunch of legends thanks to .roberts

After our run asked the simple question being asked worldwide “Why do you run?” And here is my longer version (had to try and keep the first answer short and sweet 🤣)

Honestly two years ago me was so far away from being a runner, that she would be so surprised that she now in fact enjoys running. But not particularly the running part - but what running has given her.

Community
Connection
Self confidence
Healing
Clarity
Strength

Forever grateful for my running kings and queens - my hubby for always being my motivator, for being the most supportive coach and friend, + for being the last minute running buddies because I struggle to be motivated on my own. And of course the amazing community - full of inspiring, encouraging, beautiful + fun people. All I wouldn’t have met if it wasn’t for running 🤍

Without you all, I wouldn’t be where I am today 🫶🏻

Running a small business is bloody hard sometimes and there have definitely been moments where I’ve questioned things, I have felt overwhelmed, stressed and exhausted. But every single time I have these feels/thoughts pop up, I come back to my why.

And this is it.

To help mums feel strong, confident and like themselves again.
To help women realise how capable they truly are.
To create a space where women feel safe, supported, welcomed and accepted exactly as they are, on the good days and the hard ones too.
A place where movement isn’t used as punishment, but as empowerment.
Where we stop being at war with our bodies and start appreciating them for what they can DO.
It’s is watching women walk through the doors doubting themselves and slowly start believing in themselves again.
Watching them do things they never thought possible, whether that’s their first push up, lifting weights confidently, showing up consistently for themselves or crossing a HYROX finish line they once thought was not for them.

It’s also about the bigger picture too.

It’s about raising a generation of kids who grow up seeing their mums prioritise themselves, move their bodies with confidence and understand that exercise is something to celebrate, not something we do as a punishment.
It’s seeing their mums get strong through lifting weights, live longer and as a tool to help support mental health.

My why is as strong as ever right now because mums matter.
Your health matters
Your confidence matters
And YOU, all of you, matter 🤍

If you ever felt lost in yourself, uncomfortable in your body, unsure where you fit or like you’ve spent so long putting everyone else first… I hope you know there’s space for you here too 🤍

And when you ever start to doubt yourself, always come back to your why 🤍
