Leongatha Football Netball Club Leongatha Parrots. www.leongathafc.sportingpulse.net Leongatha football club was formed in 1894. This again is only outdone by Traralgon who have won 7.

The club played in various leagues until in 1969 The Parrots entered the Latrobe Valley Football League where the club has remained ever since, although the league itself has gone through some changes on the way to being now known as The Gippsland League. Leongatha has won 10 senior football premierships since joining the league with only Traralgon having won more in that time. The netball has als

o been very successful with A grade having won 6 Premierships since netball was introduced into the league in 1990. For the smallest town in the comp, we bat well above our weight in both football and netball. The motto, 'victory through harmony'. Ty Hall plays his 50th Senior Game this weekend! 👏🏼

Ty began his football journey down at Yarram before making the move to the Parrots as an U18’s player.

It didn’t take long for Ty to show that he had plenty of ability, and he was more than ready to make his senior debut as an Under 18s player before COVID unfortunately brought the season to an early end.

Since getting his first taste of senior football, Ty has worked his backside off to cement his spot in the senior side, making an impact both on the wing and through the forward line.

His ability to work both ways on the wing is a real standout. Ty’s willingness to push back and help the defenders, before turning around and working hard offensively, is a testament to his incredible aerobic endurance and work rate.

A senior premiership player in 2025 is a fitting reward for the amount of work Ty has put in since arriving at the club. He’s a fantastic example of what can be achieved through hard work, commitment and persistence.

Aaron Heppell plays his 150 Club Game this weekend! 🙌🏼

Azza is a powerful presence in the midfield, and is a force to be reckoned with. Composed under pressure, strong overhead, and capable of hitting the scoreboard, he consistently delivers when it matters most. His three Senior Best and Fairest awards at the club — along with numerous league honours — speak to his impact.

A three-time senior premiership player, with last year’s triumph alongside his older brother Dyson a clear highlight, Azza’s legacy is firmly cemented.

We love Azza is the green and gold and look forward to watching him dominate tomorrow! 💚💛

Come along and experience the Parrots training environment!

Our 6-week Pathways Academy is designed for players born in 2014 & 2015 who are keen to develop their netball skills, game sense, confidence and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment.

Whether you’re curious about where your netball could take you and interested in trying out in 2027 or simply keen to grow your game, come along and have fun, everyone is welcome. Build confidence, game sense and teamwork while getting a taste of Parrots Pathways.
