Master of ceremonies Paul Daffey is a Melbourne based journalist who has written about country footy for over 30 years. He has written several books, most recently Behind the Goals: The History of the Victoria Country Football League, which was published in 2017. He is currently writing a book capturing stories from his recent travels in country footy. Paul has also spoken about football on radio for 20 years, currently co-hosting the Country Footy Show on RSN. The show goes to air at 5am on Mondays and podcast for listening at any time.
