DPV action today from Tas Tech Dive Centre. Bicheno turning it on again.
I was asked this morning prior to departing, what’s Plan B? and my response was stick to plan A. The truth is- to execute a complex DPV shore based expedition Dive for 2 1/2 hours covering a total distance of nearly 5 km and 40 min decompression takes significant planning, meticulous equipment preparation, hundreds of dives, extensive training, Gas planning, equipment configuration and failure planning, redundancy planning and most importantly mental preparedness and discipline. Tomorrow is a scooter dive from break wall to trap reef for a lap and back again. Anyone with scooter for 2 hr dive who wishes to join please come down 8.30am. If you wish you could? We can get you trained and get you confident to do it yourself.
We also do non technical diving guides and training.

Weekend vibes. Choptima rebreather and scooter diving all weekend for us. Gas mixing analysing. Building units. Servicing everything. I think the journey is just as fun as the diving. S80’s are training for mod 3 in October on the chop.
