Statement Regarding My Position as Promoter of LMSC Burnouts
After careful consideration, I have made the decision to step down from my position as the promoter of LMSC Burnouts.
This has not been an easy decision. Over the years I have dedicated a significant amount of time, effort, and passion into helping grow burnout events in Leeton and providing competitors, sponsors, volunteers, and spectators with quality events that support the sport we all enjoy.
Unfortunately, the current environment has made it increasingly difficult to continue in this role. Rather than working together to strengthen and improve burnout events for the benefit of competitors, sponsors, and the wider community, there has been an ongoing focus from certain individuals on creating obstacles and conflict surrounding our involvement.
As a result, I believe it is time to step aside and allow those who have been most vocal in opposing our involvement to take responsibility for the future direction of burnout events under the LMSC banner.
All current and future burnout events at Leeton will now be in the hands of those who wish to take on that responsibility. I sincerely hope they can build on what has been achieved and continue to provide opportunities for competitors and fans while supporting the future of the sport in our region.
I would like to thank every competitor, sponsor, volunteer, official, supporter, and member who has backed us throughout this journey. Your support, loyalty, and hard work have never gone unnoticed, and I am grateful for the friendships and memories created along the way.
I wish everyone involved all the best moving forward.
