Great exercise as there's only one goal with this exercise and that is to keep all of your back firmly pressed into the floor as there is minimum movement in the exercise it really allows you to focus on what's happening and what your feeling.
By pushing your legs away from the abdomen you will feel the pressure it adds to your core, withstanding this pressure will strengthen your core. BUT remember do this without your back lifting or arching of the floor
The goal is to withstand this pressure for as long as possible as your core strengths you will be able to add weights, use pulsing and other variations to further strengthen your core. ✌🏽
