Lawson parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 8am at Lawson, NSW, Australia. PLEASE PARK ON ST BERNARDS DRIVE NOT EVAN OR PARK ROAD LETS KEEP PARKRUN GREAT FOR EVERYONE IN THE COMMUNITY

Lawson parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ab

ility to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors 5 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 3 times per year.

This week, on a beautiful spring-like morning, 149 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 36 were first timers and 19 recorded new personal bests. We welcomed visitors from far and wide, including England, Wales, Denmark, Guernsey, Brisbane, and from closer to home in Richmond and the Northern Beaches.

A very special shout-out to one of our regulars, Alyssa, who reached the impressive milestone of 100 parkruns today. Congratulations on your amazing effort!

This week 118 amazing people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 17 were first timers and 18 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 11 different clubs took part.
