What an incredible day at the track!

From an awesome Come & Try Day, to action-packed club racing, and finishing with our World Championships Fundraiser Movie Night — the energy all day was unreal 🍿🔥

It was fantastic to see so many new riders out on track giving BMX a go. We hope you loved it as much as we did, and we can’t wait to see you back again soon!

A huge thank you as well to our visiting riders and families who made the trip to race with us — we love having you as part of our BMX community 💙

To every single person who helped make the day happen — volunteers, officials, parents, donors, raffle supporters, food helpers, and everyone who came along — THANK YOU. Events like this simply don’t happen without you.

🚨 Not Cool. Not Clever. Just Disappointing. 🚨

Sometime recently, someone decided it would be a great idea to smash the Mini Wheelers start gate at Lawson BMX. 👎

As you can see from the photo, the gate has been completely destroyed, and the timing couldn’t be worse with our Come & Try Day this weekend. This means our volunteers will now need to spend their time and the club’s money building a replacement instead of focusing on giving new riders the best possible experience.

This gate isn’t for elite riders chasing trophies. It’s for our 2 to 4-year-old Mini Wheelers who are just learning to ride, build confidence, and have fun on the track. ❤️🚲

If anyone has any information about who was responsible, we’d appreciate hearing from you.

And if the person who did this happens to be reading this, we’d love to see you at the club on Saturday. You can help build the new gate, run it all day, and personally apologise to every young rider who was looking forward to using it.

Our club is built by volunteers and supported by families. Please respect the facilities that so many people work hard to provide.

🚲 Gates Practice – Wednesday 5:30pm–7:00pm

🏁 Saturday 13th June
• Come & Try Day – 12pm–2pm
• Round 10 Club Racing – from 3pm
• World Championships Fundraiser Night – Wentworth Falls from 6pm 🎬

🚴‍♂️🏁 Blue Mountains BMX Takes on Manning Valley State Series Double Header! 🏁🚴‍♀️
Blue Mountains BMX made the trip north to the beautiful Manning Valley BMX Club for Rounds 3 and 4 of the NSW State Series. The double-header weekend was always going to test the riders' stamina, determination, and race craft, but the Blue Mountains crew showed they had exactly what it takes to get the job done! 💪🔥
A huge thank you goes out to the volunteers, officials, and hosts who made the weekend possible, along with all of our supporters back home cheering us on from afar. 🙌

Special congratulations to Koby Wall for a perfect weekend with back-to-back wins in the 13 Boys, Jack Fraser for taking the Cruiser victory on Sunday, and Eli Schroder who not only won the 16 Boys on Saturday but also stepped up to battle it out in the Superclass Men all weekend. 👏🔥
