Important Reminder 💦

Our 25m pool will be closed for our GOswim Race Day Event this Saturday, 20 June.

The pool will be available for public use between 5:30am and 7:00am, and the again between 2:00pm and 3:00pm.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding!

😊 Feel Good Friday 😊

Over the past few weeks, we've had the pleasure of having Tom complete work experience with us, an initiative facilitated by the ORCA Project.

Tom has been a fantastic addition to the team, always bringing a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. It's been great to see his confidence grow during his time with us.

We're proud to support programs like the ORCA Project and believe that opportunities like these are incredibly important for building skills, confidence, and community connections.

🌟 Meet the Team Monday 🌟

This week we're introducing one of our fantastic team members, Szonja!

Szonja is our dedicated Access and Inclusions Coordinator, all-around swim teacher, and she’s even a pool lifeguard!

Her favourite thing about working at the Lawnton Aquatic Centre is helping her students be the best and safest swimmers they can be! She also loves that her role allows her to help our broader community!

🎶 Szonja’s favourite song is Rein Me In by Sam Fender & Olivia Dean.

🎭 Her favourite hobby is participating in and being a part of the theatre community.

📺 And her favourite TV show is Gilmore Girls (which she is currently re-watching AGAIN) 😅

We're so lucky to have passionate team members like Szonja who love helping our swimmers grow in confidence and stay safe in the water.
