Strathpine Physical Culture Club Physie is the perfect combination of movements designed to increase flexibility, strength and fitnes

Physical Culture or Physie (pronounced ‘fizzy’) is a dance sport for girls and women. We aim to build confidence, poise and grace as well as developing good posture, strength, fitness, flexibility, co-ordination and balance through a program of fitness and dance. Above all physie builds life long friendships and teaches its students to strive for their goals! Strathpine Physie has been serving the

community for over 30 years with the same teacher! Above all our club is friendly and welcoming to all members, old and new and will welcome you or your daughter with open arms. We ensure classes are fun, new and exciting as well as giving the girls the opportunity to make new friends. We also encourage inter-age group “buddying” so the younger girls will have lots of older friends to look after them at competitions! At Strathpine we strive for the best results of all – a big smile and knowing we performed to the best of our ability!

If you had said to these two exceptional women and past dancers that they would find a renewed love for dance and performance through physie and be performing in the QLD Beginner Ladies Final, they’d have said “tell her she’s dreaming!”

But that’s the reality for our amazing ladies who performed side by side three times with strength, grace and character!

Congratulations to Christine on her first Zone Final and well done to jlpenman92 for taking home a super special Fourth Prize! 🏅
