While children are usually the ones following in their parent's footsteps, two Upper Beaconsfield Fire Brigade - CFA firefighters have flipped that idea on its head - with Axel, 17, being the inspiration for his father Steve joining CFA.

Completing their General Firefighter training together last year, the pair say they are more than just a father-son duo, but a part of a team who are learning and helping the community together.
