💛🖤 WHAT A DAY! 🖤💛

Yesterday was one of those days that reminds us exactly why we love our little club so much. Our Grand Final Day was filled with incredible netball, determination, teamwork, plenty of nerves and, most importantly, so much pride. 💛🖤

We kicked off the day with our PRD Laurieton U/12s taking the court in the first game of the day. They played some fantastic netball, encouraged one another from the first whistle to the last and gave absolutely everything they had and were rewarded with the win. What a way to start the day! 👏🏼

Next up were our Taste Bakehouse Laurieton U/10s, and they came flying out of the blocks from the very first quarter! They were on a mission, and they simply did not stop. The determination, teamwork and effort never wavered, and they did exactly what they set out to do… WIN!🏆💛🖤 What a performance from our little superstars!

Then came our Goodear Constructions Open 4s, who battled through an incredibly hard-fought game. While the result didn’t go our way, these girls never gave up. They fought for every ball, backed each other until the very last second and left absolutely everything out on that court. We couldn’t be prouder of the fight and heart they showed. 💛🖤

And to cap off an incredible day, our Maher Legal Open 3s took to the court and came away with a very strong win! They displayed fantastic teamwork, composure and determination, working together right until the final ho**er. A brilliant way to finish our Grand Final Day! 🏆👏🏼

But yesterday wasn’t just about the results…

To every player, coach, manager, parent, sibling, grandparent, friend, supporter and volunteer who showed up yesterday, THANK YOU.

To look around and see black and yellow everywhere was something truly special. For a small club, the support we received was absolutely incredible. The noise, the cheers, the encouragement and the pride shown for every single one of our teams made the day even more special.

Yesterday showed exactly what our little club is all about, community, teamwork, encouragement and supporting one another.

We are so incredibly proud of every single one of our players and everything they have achieved this season. Regardless of the result, they all walked off that court knowing they gave it everything. And that is something to be proud of. 💛🖤

A huge congratulations to all of our Grand Final teams, and an even bigger thank you to everyone who made yesterday so special.

What a special afternoon… 💛🖤

This afternoon, we came together to celebrate the incredible success of our teams who will be taking the court in the Grand Final this Saturday! 🏆

We celebrated the hard work, dedication and sacrifice shown by both our players and coaches throughout the season to make it to this exciting stage.

After training, our teams enjoyed special gifts from their coaches, heartfelt letters and of course pizza! 🍕💛

Afternoons like this are another reminder of just how special our little club truly is. The support, friendships and sense of community within our club are something we are incredibly proud of.

To all of our Grand Finalists we wish you the very best of luck for this weekend! We will all be on the sidelines cheering you on every step of the way. We are so incredibly proud of you all and hope you enjoy every single moment. 💛🖤

To cap off our day on Saturday our amazing umpire Sara Drayton got her national C badge!

Sara has worked so hard over the last few years working towards this achievement. She has represented our club umpiring during Rep carnivals as well as each Saturday umpiring our opens teams. Sara has been very resilient throughout this process and was always looking to improve.

As a club we are so proud of Sara and are so lucky to have her as a role model for our younger kids! Congratulations Sara!

Also a big thank you to everyone who has helped Sara out along the way and supported her throughout this opportunity 💛🖤

On the weekend our youngest netball players also had their last game of the season. This lovely little team has had such a fun season and we have loved watching them grow! A big thank you to Amanda for coaching the girls and everyone who has helped out throughout the season. We hope to see you all back next season 💛🖤

🌟 WOW what a day! 🌟

Our semi finals started with our U/12 PRD Laurieton Who played a great game against a tough team and came out with a 12-11 win! They are now straight through to the grand final in 2 weekends time and we are so proud of them! 💛🖤

Next up we had both our U/10 Taste Bakehouse Laurieton and our U/10 Camden Haven Tyre & Service Centre. Our Taste bakehouse team played a very impressive game, chasing every loose ball and working together to get an amazing 8-4 win putting them straight into the grand final as well. Unfortunately our Camden Haven Tyre & Brake team had a loss after playing a very good game with no subs. These girls showed determination and really made our club proud! How lucky are we to have so many talented young kids coming through our club! 💛🖤

Following our 10s we had our Cadets 5 Jrb Joinery. These girls have improved so much throughout the season and should be so proud of their progress. Unfortunately the girls didn’t come away with the win but we can’t wait to see them back next year and see what else they have to offer! 💛🖤

In the afternoon our Opens kicked off, our opens 4 Goodear Constructions had an amazing game! Everyone pushed themselves and showed up for one another. They came away with a 37-18 win and will also go straight through to the grand final! 💛🖤

Our opens 2 Royal Hotel Kew girls played a hard fought game against a very smart team. The game went back and fourth but in the end the girls went down by 4. We are so proud of this team and how they represent our club 💛🖤

To finish off the day on a high our opens 3 Maher Legal team had an unreal 43-30 win! Adding to the teams who will be playing in the Grand Final. This team is a very talented and hardworking team. They are very deserving of this position 💛🖤

As a club we couldn’t be prouder of the effort of everyone throughout the whole season and want to say a big thank you to our amazing coaches and committee without them these results would not be possible. We can’t wait to cheer on our 4 Camden Haven teams in the Grand Final in a few weeks. Let’s go Haven 💛🖤
