We paddle all year [including winter] to improve fitness, make new friends, and share fun experiences on the water. Offering training opportunities such as basic paddling techniques, water safety, racing programs β¦ and even learning to sweep the boat β¦ we also hold social and fun paddling events for all club members to enjoy. Our sports teams enjoy training for and competing in Regional Regattas,
State Championships, Masters Games and National Titles. CanSurvive, affiliated with the CHDB Club, is an enthusiastic group of breast cancer survivors and supporters who thrive on the positive outcome that being involved in a dragon boating team provides. As well as having fun, finding friendship, and enjoying socialising, they hope to show that there is a positive outcome from such a challenging journey.
