🏀 ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT THE REFEREE COMMUNITY? WE WANT YOU! 🏀

The Launceston Basketball Association is establishing a Referee Working Group, and we're looking for passionate members of our basketball community to help shape the future of officiating in Northern Tasmania.

This group will provide an opportunity to:
✅ Share ideas and feedback
✅ Support referee education and development
✅ Contribute to initiatives that strengthen the referee experience
✅ Help build a positive and inclusive referee community for officials of all experience levels

The Working Group will operate in an advisory capacity and provide a forum for ideas, feedback and collaboration aimed at creating a positive and supportive environment for all officials.

This group is intended to work collaboratively and positively to support our officials and contribute to the continued growth of basketball in Northern Tasmania.

KW Basketball, in collaboration with the Jackson Motor Company Launceston Basketball Association, is proud to present the inaugural KW NEXT GEN SERIES — an elite competition created specifically for Premier League athletes who want more.

Designed to DEVELOP. CHALLENGE. IMPROVE.

The NEXT GEN SERIES has been built around high-level game play, structured learning, and a TEAM FIRST environment, giving athletes an exciting new competition experience focused on basketball IQ, decision making, competitiveness, and growth.

Every week includes:
• Structured team learning before tip-off
• Offensive and defensive concepts taught by experienced coaches
• High-level game play with purpose and intensity
• A premium game-day atmosphere unlike anything currently offered in junior basketball

This isn’t just “roll-the-ball-out” basketball.
Athletes will learn HOW to play the game — read the floor, make decisions under pressure, compete with purpose, and build real basketball IQ.

10 weeks.
10 unique rounds.
Every Saturday is a new challenge.
Every round is an event.

Starting Saturday 20th June.

For athletes serious about taking the next step.

The player HQ shop has now been closed. If you are still required a playing top you will need to now meet the merch team at Elphin.
This is also the collection day for those that have ordered through the shop.
The merch team will be at:
Elphin on Thursday the 30th of April 12-1:30. In the top carpark. 🚗
