Great to see plenty of you at our end of season awards at the pool over the weekend. We do have a few trophies and awards still for athletes who were not present on Saturday.

Due to freight issues with the EOY trophies the club has had to postpone the End Of Season Awards until Sat 26th March.
Venue - Launceston Aquatic Centre
Time - 3pm

Hi All

Just a reminder that we start our end of season centre championships this weekend. These meets will run a bit longer than usual as there will be heats and finals for the sprint events. To compete in the centre champs you must have completed the event at least twice during the season and have competed in at least 25 events overall during the season. Your 25 events (or higher) badge should be displayed on your shirt.

Hi All, see the reminder below regarding name badges. We hope to see as many y of you as possible at our PB meet this Saturday. After this week we only have 1 more or each program left before the end of season Centre Champs. To compete in those events you must have completed the individual event at least twice and 25 events in total.

Any questions just come and see Team Nick on Saturday or speak to your age group manager.

Has anyone still not received their name badge? If any replacement name badges are needed ahead of the State Multi Event Championships LATas need to know by today - Thursday (6th January) so they can be ordered on Friday morning to ensure delivery.

Hi Athletes,
As you can see training times and dates are now confirmed, we will be starting next week. 🥇🏃‍♀️

Youngtown Oval is booked and ready to use as of Wednesday 20th Oct for our centre training. Instead of individual clubs running separate sessions, this season training will be managed by a pool of volunteers on Wednesday and Thursdays from 5pm-6pm.
If you are in attendance, it is expected that you remain with your child to assist. If you can be there to help set up and pack up that would also be greatly appreciated.

Hi Everybody

Just a few things with the first meet of the season coming up this weekend. Firstly, if you haven't registered yet, please do so asap. The centre is using a new method to input results this year, which means your child's results will be available just about in real time, but only if your child is registered.

When you registered your child you were asked what role as a parent you would take on this year. The duty roster for week 1 will be posted in the next day or so so our parents will know what role they have for week 1.

Please be at the track no later than 8.15 for warm ups. All children will then marshal at 8.25 ready to start their first event at 8.30. Obviously we are starting a new system with the age group managers this season, so please be patient if we have a few teething problems in the first couple of weeks. Once we get the into the swing of things I'm sure our meets will run really well.

As a club you should be able to find us near the coffee van (look for the Norwood flag), so if you need any info or assistance for the day just come and ask. We are all looking forward to a great first meet.
