๐2026 Development League Update๐
For players wishing to play for Devils Basketball Club in the 2026 Development League (Term 2 and 3), information about Expressions of Interest to play, fees, game nights, etc will be sent out soon.
Once the Jackson Ford Launceston Basketball Association send Clubs the EOI registration process, team fees and other season info we will communicate with all players interested in playing with Devils.
For current Devils players (ie 2025 Development League & Premier League) an email will be sent to you with this information about registering your interest to play again next season (using emails provided on past registrations).
For those new players or those from other Clubs interested in joining Devils, information will be posted onto the South East Launceston Devils Basketball Facebook site. So please follow our page and look out for information posted this month.
Priority will be given to finding spots for current Devils players into teams, as we are limited to adding players as we need coaches to train and manage each team. Players who are turning 8 or 9 in 2026 (U10's) are encouraged to register and a team will be found for you. Parents are encouraged to put their hand up to coach or manage these younger teams. Training will be provided to new coaches before the 2026 season starts.
A grading day/tryout session will be held (as needed) after the school holidays for players that need to be placed into a team and/or for teams that we need to determine what grade they should be placed.
Devils Coaches who are returning from 2025 you should have received an email with a form to confirm if you would like to coach the same players, or any player changes to last season. If you are interested in coaching a Devils junior Div2 or Div3 team please email the Devils on [email protected], we are always looking for new coaches so that more players can make up a new team.
The Devils Committee look forward to another enjoyable Development League season, where the emphasis is on playing with respect, having fun, playing with your mates, developing the basic skills of team basketball and improving your own skills.
