The Board and members of the Latrobe Bowls Club would like to acknowledge the passing of one of our members, Jeremy Richardson, and offer our deepest condolences to Leila, her family and friends.

Thank you to all those who make this Club a great place to spend time, not only on the green, but also socialising with each other.

Everyone is getting excited and can't wait for the season to get underway.

Congratulations to a new member of our Club Kathy Burrows who, along with Malcolm Wubbels, won Saturday's pairs competition yesterday. Kathy was very unlucky not to win the shootout as well. Her bowl was the closest to the kitty until the last bowler had a toucher and moved it across to Chris Barber.

Our August Soup and Sandwich luncheon was held today.

Thank you to all those who attended and to our wonderful volunteers who made the day so successful.

Our last one will be held on the last Friday in September (the 25th) and we look forward to seeing you all there.
