The next WDCC / Geelong Motorsport Club bitumen Motorkhana will be on Oct. 4th.

🏁Big Khana Action🏁 Post 2 of 2

A great day for Motorkhana at Avalon and a big field of entrants to enjoy some Father's day fun!

40 Competitors came to test and develop their skills for the combined Group5 and WDCC/GMSC event, and it was great to see a number of first-time drivers out there.

Thanks to the Group5 team and all assistants for running the day.

Next event is a dirt Khanacross on September 20th. You will need a Helmet and fitted fire extinguisher for that one.

Otherwise come back on October 4th for another crack at mastering a Bitumen Motorkhana on October 4th.

September 20: Autocross/Khanacross Round 7
October 4: Motorkhana Round 8
October 18: Autocross/Khanacross Round 8
October 25: GMSC Bitumen Khanacross (Early entry priority for members)
November 1: Motorkhana Round 9
November 15: Autocross/Khanacross Round 9 + VCAS?
December 6: GMSC member's event

How's this track🔥🔥🔥

Challenges the driver to pick the right entry speed, balance the car on the throttle and keep to the grippy line. Then when you get to the back Chicane, it’s a challenge with the braking and getting the car to rotate quickly through tight part. If you don't get it all right like in this vid, then you strive to do it better next run.

This is all with a standard 2005 Ford Focus. Get something faster and the challenges increase…

Only mods are Fire Extinguisher, Mud Flaps and a rear muffler delete.
