Lara Swimming Club At Lara Swimming Club, we believe that every swimmer can be a champion. Our adult learn to swim and technique refinement classes are also a popular option.

Whether it’s proudly touching the wall in their first fifty metre swim, competing for enjoyment, or striving for qualifying times, our programs will help them do their best while our culture will help them to be their best. Our friendly club provides opportunities for the whole family to enjoy the benefits of swimming. We hold learn to swim classes for children beginning school, squad training for

competition and fitness and even a recreational/semi-retired competition at our regular Saturday morning meets. If you’d rather stay dry, that’s not a problem. There’s always plenty of activity poolside, thanks to our Social Club and Fundraising Sub-committees.

The program and entry form for the 2023 Lara Swimming Club All-Abilities Encouragement Meet are now available.

This meet - on Sunday 12th February - is open to all registered and non-registered swimmers, and is a fun competition that caters for swimmers of all abilities.

Good morning people,
It was great to see so many smiling faces and great efforts in the pool this morning. With our Summer Carnival being next Saturday there will be no club. What we need is as many people on board to with assist with set up Friday evening at around 5pm to set up and also 7-7:30 for setup on Saturday morning. If that doesn’t suit could we please get as many people to help time keep? There will be 2 sessions and we don’t expect you to do both. Could I please have a show of numbers and what you can do by Tuesday evening.

Just a reminder that swimming starts again tomorrow at Lara pool, 7:45am dry land, 8am warm up and racing starts at 8:30am. Don’t forget to bring your gold coins for breakfast club. Can’t wait to see you.

Congratulations to our 100 Club winners for July & August, Grace Andrews and Maree Veenstra who each win $25.

September's draw will take place at the end of the month and will be another $100 prize to coincide with the Grand Final.

Coming towards the end of its 2nd year the $100 club has paid out nearly a $1000 in prizes and generates much needed funds for the Lara Swimming Club.
