Both congratulations, and commiserations to our Langwarrin teams who competed in Grand finals and carry over semi finals this weekend after an interrupted Saturday last week 🌧

Firstly we had two flag winners in the Waverley District Competition:

* Mens Open Singles A5- Jack, Meho and Ben completing a great year with a 3-0 finals result

*Mens Open Singles A Reserve 1- Ben, Harley and Matt finished their final with a fantastic 2-1 winning result. The Doubles result the week prior proving crucial to the win.

In our PTA Juniors we didnt quite have the results we hoped for with our Section 3 team - Austin, Josh and Dean losing their carry over semi final during a final set tiebreak and our Section 8 team- Ryan, Lillian and Kaveen unfortunately losing 0-3.

Our Section 4 team of Rabab, Benjamin and Milla made it through to the grand finals at Overport but finished with a 1-2 defeat to Mt Martha.

Again congratulations to all players and teams this season for competing and representing our club. We now have a few weeks break before Summer Competition begins for 26/27 season.

Congratulations to our junior WDTA A6 team of Charlie, Riley and Koby who have won their Grand Final today at Langwarrin TC.
The boys finished the regular season first on the ladder so this is a great result to cap off such a strong season.

Congratulations to both of our WDTA Mens Singles teams who played their Semi Finals today:

Section A5 winning 3-0 vs Eley Park

Section A Reserve 1 winning 2-1 vs St Mary's with Harley Edmonds battling out a very tight deciding match final set 6/4.

Grand Final venues to be confirmed for next week.

Sign up is available via text or entry sheets within the clubhouse (noticeboard).

Entries close Monday 15th of September with all entrants required to be a financial member of the club.
