📣 COACH ANNOUNCEMENT – UNDER 14s 📣

We’re excited to welcome Matt “Thommo” Thompson into the Under 14s coaching role for the upcoming season!

Thommo brings a huge amount of knowledge and experience to the role, having played across all levels of the club throughout his career — including Seniors, Reserves, Thirds and Fourths, with over 250 games combined.

He has also coached the Cannons before, and we’re absolutely thrilled to have him back on board to help guide and develop our young players.

We are excited to announce that Dean Turner has been appointed as our Under 12s Coach for the upcoming season! 🙌

Dean brings a wealth of knowledge, passion and long-standing commitment to the Lang Lang football community. Current Vice President of the Cannons, and a former Senior Club President. Dean is also always one of the first people to lend a hand around the club, making him a highly respected and valued member both on and off the field.

Please join us in congratulating Dean on his new coaching role. We are thrilled to have him leading our Under 12s in 2026! 🖤💛

We’re excited to welcome Benny Barwick back to the coaching team for the 2026 season, taking the reins of our Under 10s! 👏

Benny has a long and proud history with the Lang Lang Football Club — having played all of his juniors here, gone on to play 100+ senior games, and racking up 300+ club games in total. He’s also a former senior captain and reserves premiership captain, bringing a wealth of experience, leadership, and passion to our next generation of Cannons. 💪

We’re thrilled to have Benny back on board to help our young players develop their skills, teamwork, and love for the game. Let’s go, Cannons! 🔥

🌟 Exciting Announcement! 🌟

We’re thrilled to welcome BJ Wildes to the Cannons family as our Auskick and Under 8s coach for the 2026 season! 🖤💛

BJ was a huge help during our Auskick program this year and has now put his hand up to take on the coaching role — and we couldn’t be more excited! 🙌

A true Cannon through and through, BJ played all of his junior football with Lang Lang and went on to play 245 senior / reserves games for the club. 🏉

We’re so lucky to have him sharing his knowledge, passion, and love for the game with our youngest players this season.

Welcome aboard, BJ — it’s going to be an awesome year ahead! 💛🖤
