We hold open competitions for Men Tuesday & Thursdays 7AM - 11AM

Womens competition held on Wednesday mornings. If anyone is interested please feel free to ring the club & we can arrange a meet & greet with the women & get you involved in the club. We hold an open gendered competition on Saturdays from 7AM - 14:30PM for members & respective club members from elsewhere. Green fee/social players are welcome to play outside of these times, booking your round is highly recommended especially Sundays. We have 6 carts available upon availability. Lang Lang Golf Club is set up perfectly for hosting numerous social golf clubs on any given day. We have catering facilities to provide snacks through to sit down meals. The club has a licensed bar where alcohol can be purchased at very reasonable prices. Please note: alcohol is not permitted to be brought onto the club premises

The 18 hole Lang Lang Golf Club offers a unique experience in the Westernport Region. Surrounded by scenic forest landscapes and native wildlife, the course has been described as a hidden gem. The layout is a very challenging par 70 with narrow fairways and slick, true putting surfaces. The course is built on pure sand which allows for optimal natural drainage so the course is playable all year round.

Funding Boost for Women’s & Junior Clinics. ⛳️

Earlier this year, our Club submitted a funding proposal to support future Women’s and Junior Golf Clinics, once the Club’s new practice and short game facility is completed.

We’re pleased to announce the application was successful through the Bendigo Bank Community Investment Program. 🤩

Last month at Caldermeade Farm & Café, Bendigo Bank celebrated local community organisations making a positive difference across the region. The Club was presented with a certificate recognising our successful application, received by our General Manager Alfy Ancayan and Acting President Charlie Love.

The funding will help support the delivery of future Women’s and Junior Clinics, creating new opportunities for participation and helping grow the game within our local community. 👏🏼

🏆 LLGC Back-to-Back Women's Challenge Bowl Champions! 🏆

At the end of last month, the Club proudly hosted the annual Women's Challenge Bowl, welcoming 63 golfers from across regional Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne for a fantastic day of competition and camaraderie. 🏌🏻‍♀️

While the weather didn't provide ideal golfing conditions, the day was still a tremendous success and enjoyed by all who attended.

A huge congratulations to our Lang Lang Golf Club team of Chris Caig, Heather Payne and Leah Barker, who secured back-to-back Women's Challenge Bowl victories with an outstanding combined score of 102 Stableford points. A fantastic team effort and a wonderful achievement for our Club! 👏 🏆

⛳️ THANK A SUPERINTENDENT DAY 👏🏼

Today is the perfect day to recognise the team who work behind the scenes to keep our course looking and playing its best. 🤩

Our Course Superintendent, Brett Francome, deserves a huge thank you for his hard work, leadership and commitment to continuing to take the Lang Lang Golf Club from strength to strength. 👏🏼

Over the past couple of years, the transformation and ongoing conditioning of the course has been a real standout across South Gippsland. It’s fantastic to see golfers, golf & turf industry professionals making the trip down from across the state to experience our sand-based course and see the work that goes into it.

Also, a big thank you goes to the Course team - 2IC Cam, Jarrod, Michael and Stan for the work they put in day in and day out. 👏🏼

The Club continues to move forward, grow in Membership and having a Course team that takes such pride in what they do and care about the natural environment is a big part of that. 💪🏼

While today’s on and off rain may not have provided the most exciting golfing conditions, last Saturday certainly delivered some memorable moments on the course! ⛳️

Firstly, congratulations to Member Leah Barker on achieving a fantastic Hole in One on the 5th hole. A remarkable accomplishment and a moment every golfer dreams of. 🤩 👏🏼

Adding to the excitement, Member Luke Sparks produced an incredible eagle on the 10th hole after hitting his second shot all the way from the 17th fairway! A truly extraordinary effort and one to remember. 🦅 👏🏼

Charlie had a solid round of 83 off the stick (40 points), playing off 17. He finished his round with a birdie on the 9th ⛳️ Par 3.

The Club mourns the passing of Life Member Harry Maxwell, a man who shaped our Club and community for more than six decades.

Harry and his late wife Noela, also a Life Member, were proud Tooradin locals whose impact on LLGC began in the 1960s and continued throughout their lives. Before golf, Harry was a standout footballer, winning Tooradin Dalmore Football & Netball Club Best & Fairest in 1954 and playing in their 1956 and 1958 Premierships. He later served as Vice President, President and long‑term Committee Member, earning TDFNC Life Membership for his service.

When Harry turned to Golf, LLGC was all the better for it. He volunteered countless hours, always ready with his skills as an expert builder and a practical problem‑solver. Whether preparing tournament fields at dawn or fixing clubhouse issues, Harry was dependable, capable and endlessly helpful.

He was a kind, generous man who cared deeply for others and saw volunteering as a privilege.

Our thoughts and condolences are with Harry’s family and friends as we honour a remarkable life and legacy. 🤍
