Join the team! 9 Degrees is hiring a social media designer and content coordinator.
We’re looking for someone who is confident in creating and posting content on social media, designing digital marketing material and synchronising a content calendar across multiple accounts and locations. This position will work closely with our existing management and marketing team to develop creative content that enhances brand awareness, engages the target audience, and drives customer acquisition and retention.
Job Title: 9D Social Media Designer (16hrs/wk, flexible)
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop and create digital media
- Develop and maintain a social media content calendar that aligns and coordinates our four Sydney locations
- Work with our existing media and management team to conceptualize and design marketing collateral for promotions and events
- Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and reflect existing tone and messaging
- Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments
Requirements:
- Proficiency in graphic design software
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory and layout composition
- Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
- Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
- A good understanding of bouldering and relevant terminology
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
