Team Maverick are competing at the Torian Pro!

I generally don't share personal content on this page, but this is something I'm really proud of.

Both Jesse and I will be competing at the Torian Pro in our respective age groups this year.

Health and Fitness is a family affair, and it's always been very important to us that we walk the walk.
This year will mark 6 consecutive years that one of our family has competed at the Torian Pro, for which I'm very proud of.

New product alert: Handstand Riser

We think it's time that we ditch the abmat as the default handstand riser (particularly in competitions) and adopt a standardised item that takes the guesswork out of the equation.

At Maverick we're constantly evolving our products.

One of the advantages of manufacturing our products in house is that we can evolve a product quickly and efficiently.

It may be that we've got an improved design, reacting to feedback or we simply want to make an item look better. Either way we can do it with minimal lag.

Take these J hooks for example. This is the 4th iteration of this product. The original design worked just fine but we just wanted to make them better, so we did.

We're passionate about our craft and still get excited by these improvements as much today as we did at the very beginning.

Can you install a rig outside?

Yes, absolutely.

This high/low free standing will be installed outside and because of that, it will have zinc primer applied, blanking caps in each upright, and drainage holes in areas where water could accumulate.

In addition to this, we recommend that you periodically spray the internals of your uprights with a corrosion preventative such as fish oil.

We have many examples of rigs that have been installed in coastal environments that have stood the test of time due to this process.

Happy new year everyone.

We have been busy over the Christmas period moving into our new premises at 2/12 Kelly Court, Landsborough.
