Congratulations to our 2025 Preferred Plaster Race the Roo female winner, Siobhan Sefton, for taking out third place in the Sunshine Coast Marathon on Sunday!

What a legend!

Congratulations to Siobhan Sefton for finishing third in the 2025 EVA Air Sunshine Coast Marathon, clocking an impressive 2:44:32 at a strong 3:53 min/km pace!

“The plan was to aim for a sub-2:50 finish. There was a decent-sized group ahead aiming for 2:45, so I jumped in and held on. I felt really comfortable late in the race and ran a strong negative split over the last five kilometres.

Coolum Run Club had a huge impact on the day — from the support crew at the finish tent to teammates cheering along the Mudjimba stretch. That’s our usual Sunday training route, so having our CRC community there handing out supplies was incredible.

The move away from a multi-lap course definitely enticed me to enter… being able to trial what could be the Olympic marathon course was a great experience.”—Siobhan Sefton.
