Members Night this Friday Night 29/5/2026- Both Jackpots went off last week - Congratulations to those Winners. So, the Members Jackpot is back to $200 and Members Points to Card Jackpot starts again at 4000 points ($40) must be in attendance to win. Also buy your raffle tickets with a chance to win one of our great meat trays or refreshment vouchers - Come along and enjoy the night. ALL WELCOME to attend.

Presentation Day was celebrated at the club last Sunday with close to a 100 in attendance which included Members, Families, Friends & Guests. It was a wonderful day where we celebrated our great season on the greens and awarded our winners in our club championship events. This year we awarded best player medals in all our sides (judged on weekly voting by each team rink) in both Midweek & Weekend Pennant. All medals are now named after those who have made a significant contribution to the club over many years, and we thank them again for their contribution. Thank you to all who assisted through the day - particularly those who worked in the kitchen and in conjunction with our caterer and many thanks also to our venue staff. Thank you to our Bowls Committee for all the work etc that went into the planning of the day and all your work through the season.

Congratulations to Wayne Pretty our Club Singles Champion this season - After a solid weekend of bowling last Saturday & Sunday seen him make the Final of Northern Gateway Region Champion of Champions Men's singles and just falling short to be the Runner Up All at the Lalor Bowling Club congratulate you on a great effort in getting to the final and proudly representing our Club. Well, done Wayne.

Over the weekend - starting Friday night - Club Championships Finals were played - Mixed Pairs were won by Christine Felle & Tim Gleeson, runners up were Carmen Spiteri & Shane Taylor. Saturday afternoon saw the Final of the Proportional Handicap and that was won by Shane Taylor with runner up Duncan Limosani. Thanks to all who participated in both these events this season.

Many congratulations to our No. 2 Side on what was a great year for the team. Division 3 Section Winners and after all the Divisional play offs reached the Final and just fell short of a win to be Runners Up. Again, from all at the club Great Effort and Well Done to all who participated in the team throughout the season.

CONGRATULATIONS to our NO. 1 Side - Midweek Pennant on winning their Grand Final on Tuesday. Division 2 Section 3 - Section Winners and a Promotion next season. We wish them continuous success in the up-and-coming Divisional playoffs. We also CONGRATULATE our No. 3 side Midweek Pennant on making the Preliminary Final in their section just failed in a very close contest to get the win. Congrats and Thankyou to ALL our Midweek Bowlers who participated during the season.

It is with great sadness that we inform all our Members and Facebook Friends & Followers of the passing last night of Esteemed Member and Life Member and former Club President 1991-1993 of the Lalor Bowling Club - Neville Burr. We send our Deepest Sympathy and condolences to Carryl and all extended families - We have lost a Great Clubman, and a Legend of the Club but more importantly a true Gentleman and a wonderful friend to us all. RIP Nifty.

CONGRATULATIONS to our NO. 2 Side on winning their Grand Final on Saturday. Division 3 Section 3 -Section Winners and a Promotion next season. They followed up today with a Quarter Final Divisional win at Moonee Ponds against MCC 3 to progress next Saturday to the semi-final against Mitcham 3. We also CONGRATULATE our No. 3 on making the Grand Final in their section came up a little short at the end of the day - but still earned a well-deserved Promotion also for next season. Congrats to you all on a very good year.
