It was a HUGE night of Newcastle Permanent Community Football INTERZONE Grand Finals around the Macquarie area!

A big thank you to our wonderful host clubs and their hard working volunteers for putting on a great show. Well done also to our match officials for stepping into the action, without whom we would not have these wonderful spectacles of football.

Congratulations to all those victorious teams this evening and commiserations to those teams who unfortunately went down in the big dance.

It has been a brilliant season, and we've still got a big weekend ahead!βš½πŸ€πŸ†πŸ‘

Macquarie Football is proud to present our Under 11s community representative squads which will take part in the inaugural Chris Turner Cup on Wednesday October 7 at Alder Park.

The Boys group will compete in a 9v9 "World Cup" style tournament, while the Girls group will be competing in a similar 7v7 format. With Zone representative teams set to take the park against JDL opposition, it promises to be a great day of footballing development for all involved.

On a day where the wider footballing community will come together to remember a local football legend and advocate of the game at all levels in our region, we are proud to be taking part and representing many of our community football clubs in the Macquarie area.

A big thank you to Mike and the team at Hunter Men & Women of Football for the opportunity to be involved in this special day! βš½πŸ†πŸ€πŸ”΅

We did a thing!! βš½πŸ™Œ

Our Interzone team are proud to have taken part in the inaugural NNSWF Corporate Cup last night joining businesses across the community helping raise funds for the incredible Ronald McDonald House Charities.

The team went out there wanting to win but we definitely laughed, had fun and made memories more than we won games! πŸ˜‚

A huge thank you to Northern NSW Football for the opportunity to be part of such an amazing event and for bringing everyone together for such a great cause.

We had an absolute blast! πŸ’™βš½πŸ‘

Football NSW (FNSW) and Northern New South Wales Football (NNSWF) have once again partnered with Solucio, to undertake a study into the Community Impact of Football in NSW. The study will look at how the game contributes to stronger, healthier, and more connected communities across NSW.
This includes participation in local clubs, the time and effort given by volunteers, the role football plays in bringing families together, and the broader social and economic benefits created through training, competition, events, and travel.
By collecting this information from participants, volunteers and officials right across the state, FNSW/NNSWF can better support clubs, strengthen programs, and advocate for the value of football to governments and partners into the future.
Your input will play an important role in shaping the future direction of football in NSW and ensuring its value is clearly understood and recognised. We will utilise this data to lobby Government for greater equity to funding for facilities.

https://solucio.questionpro.com/a/TakeSurvey?tt=wJYmTRSSl5MECHrPeIW9eQ%3D%3D

As a thank you, participants who complete the survey have the opportunity go into the draw to win one of two $100 Coles Gift Cards. Winners will be randomly drawn from all completed response once the survey closes (midnight, Monday 10th August).

Note: Parents completing the survey on behalf of a child are asked to respond from their child’s perspective. Households with multiple participants are welcome to complete the survey more than once, but only one survey per participant. If only one person within a multiple-participant household is completing the survey, then please base the responses on the most active participant within the household.

Our Macquarie Development 10s/11s Girls Group had a massive day at Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility, taking part in the NNSWF JDL Girls Gala Day!

Shout out to all the girls and their families for juggling club commitments earlier this morning, as well as 3x big tests against JDL opposition in Valentine, New Lambton and Broadmeadow Magic FC. The girls competed hard and represented their community clubs very well!

A big thanks also to Mitch O'Keefe from NNSWF for organising the event and giving our girls the chance to play! βš½πŸ”΅πŸ‘
