Lake Macdonald Rowing Club Lake Macdonald Rowing Club is located in the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland in Queensland, Australia. We welcome new members.

Sweep rowing and sculling - that's what we do most mornings before the wind gets up. Beautiful Lake Macdonald is a safe place to row with no motorised equipment allowed on the lake. Just watch out for pelicans, water lilies and the odd kayaker. Most of our members are at masters level (age 27+) but we welcome members of all ages and skill levels. If you have never rowed before or need a refresher

😉 Latest from Seqwater on the dam construction project.
And, yes, we will be moving permanently to the southern end of the lake, pending a DA approval from Noosa Council which they say could take 3-4 months. Fingers crossed the move goes well for our little club and we can eventually start to recruit new members and show them why rowing is the best sport for physical and mental health, and why Lake Macdonald is the best place to do it!
Meanwhile, the lake is full to the brim so let's get out there and enjoy it!
