Just a friendly reminder to all competitors as you gear up for the Scotts Head Paddle Games! To ensure everyone gets a fair go and the schedule runs smoothly, please keep the following conditions of entry in mind:

• Maximum of 2 Surfing Events
• 1 Distance Event
• 1 Technical Event

We can't wait to see the community come together for another epic year of paddling.

Finally we had conditions suitable to run a club round…. But only just! Huey has been pretty off the charts lately and a much larger than anticipated south swell combined with banks that have been pounded by XL sized surf over the past month meant that our regular spot at Warilla was a no go…
A quick decision to check our neighbours at Shellharbour North looked like we had the exact opposite problem… but after the tide came up a bit we were treated to some fun waves, blue skies and crystal clear water…

Turned out to be a fantastic morning with some absolute shredding by the crew. Our legend photographer Phill McCudden (pm_ocean_images) was on hand to capture the day and the results are below:

1st Place - Ray Hughes
2nd Place - Scotty Burton
3rd equal - Rebecca Dunning and Matt Russell

Well done to all and it was fantastic having everyone back at the beach!!

Distance Race Update: Mass Start Info

Heads up, paddlers! To make sure everyone knows what’s going on when you enter the event. We’ve made some adjustments to our 3km, 6km, and 9km distance event.

The Game Plan
Due to time restraints, all three distances will be run as a Mass Start. Because everyone is heading off at once, please keep the following in mind:

• One Entry Only:
You can only register for one distance event.

• Flexibility on the Day:
Not sure if you're feeling the full 9km? No worries. You can officially change your chosen distance at the Check-In Desk on race morning.

• Check the Conditions:
This allows you to see the weather and track conditions before locking in your final distance.

Congrats to with his new custom swallow tail spitfire he won at the Gerroa longboard sup comp run by raffle.
