Lakeside held its Annual Tournament last weekend and is also holding a two-day 36-hole 4 person Ambrose tournament this weekend entries to Dave Williams 0402 409986.

Sundays Men’s A grade 18 hole scratch winner was Dale Jager (4) 78 after a two-hole playoff from James Meehan Jnr (5) 78, A grade handicap winners was Daniel Thompson (10) nett 71 from runner up Peter Harley (14) nett 75. B Grade scratch winner was Adam Kelly (15) 86 from runner up Ben Hipworth (17) 91. B Grade handicap winner was John Ackland (20) nett 72 from runner up Mitch Williams (22) nett 73. Nearest the pin winners were Brodie Williams on the 3rd, Peter Harley on the 7th, David Williams on the 12th and Bull Ritchie on the 18th.Longest drive winner was Doug Meehan, and straightest drive winner was Peter Roberts. Nearest the pin over the tournament on the18th was Mandy Male. One of our golfing visitors commented that Lakeside was in the best condition that they had seen It in. This is probably due to the regular rain events and devoted ongoing work by the dedicated members at Lakeside.

1st day of our annual tournament was held today, ladies 4BBB.
The ladies played on a well prepared course, given the amount of rain over the weekend & finished the day with a beautiful afternoon tea.
