We are incredibly proud to see one of our LDNA players representing at the upcoming Netball Queensland Junior State Age Championships as part of the Lockyer Valley Netball Association team.

Opportunities like these are a fantastic reward for the hard work, dedication and commitment that players put into their netball development, and we love seeing our athletes continue to pursue higher representative pathways.

Congratulations on your selection and achievement. We know you will represent both Lockyer Valley and the Laidley & Districts Netball Association with pride.

WORDS FROM THE COACH

Sav aka “Robbo” is making her debut at JSA this year as well. Coming to us from the Laidley Netball Club she is a defensive weapon. With game sense way beyond her years Sav can read plays and opponents attack like a seasoned veteran.

For anyone who knows Sav knows that she is a social butterfly. She makes conversation and friends with ease even when her coach tells her to stop being so lovely to the opposition shooters.

Despite her bright, friendly and chatty personality sav is a fierce competitor. She works relentlessly all with a smile on her face and a caring and supportive word for everyone on the team.

She is a pleasure to coach and we’re very lucky to have her along for the ride with us this year and look forward to seeing what the future has in store for her netball.

🏐❤️ LDNA PRELIMINARY FINALS – THIS THURSDAY ❤️🏐

Congratulations to all teams who have progressed through to the next round of finals! We wish every team the very best of luck as they take to the court this Thursday in what promises to be another exciting night of netball.

🤝 As we move deeper into the finals series, we remind all players, coaches, officials, parents and spectators to conduct themselves in accordance with the LDNA Code of Conduct. Let’s continue to demonstrate respect, sportsmanship and support for all participants both on and off the court.

🏐❤️ SENIOR FINALS ROUND 1 COMPLETE! ❤️🏐

Congratulations to all teams who participated in Finals Round 1 of the 2026 LDNA Senior Summer Competition last night. The standard of netball was outstanding, with every team showing determination, sportsmanship and plenty of competitive spirit.

All three teams have secured their place in the Grand Finals and will now await their opponents.

Senior games will be going ahead tonight.

🌧️🏐 FINALS UPDATE – JUNIOR 1 & JUNIOR 2 🏐🌧️

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing rain and wet court conditions, tonight's Junior 1 and Junior 2 Finals Round 1 has been cancelled.

After consideration, the finals series will continue next week with:

🏐 Finals Round 2
• Teams finishing 2nd and 3rd on the ladder will play off for a place in the Grand Final.

🏆 Grand Final
• The winner of the 2nd vs 3rd playoff will progress to the Grand Final to take on the 1st placed team on the ladder.

🍕 NETTAS
Good news! Nettas will still be going ahead tonight for their end-of-season pizza party. We look forward to celebrating a fantastic season with our youngest netballers.

We appreciate everyone's understanding and flexibility as we work through the wet weather. Player safety remains our priority.
