Post Trout Opening 26 packing up and pulling down .. all over for another year..

A good social night with the fellas from the Keysborough Club was a nice way to finish .. as was mixing it with them over the weekend…thanks President Dave for your gifts and we hope you enjoyed ours. See them on FB a great club with a fantastic history..

Jai got a small fish in the iconic Rubicon River and John C caught a 47cm BT, Peter a 43RB in the Goulburn . On the Sunday afternoon..

24 members ( 15 fished)registered for the comp this weekend and what a social and great time around the fire and the camp .. the river ever present in the background. The weather was challenging at times but not overwhelming and it was warmer then usual..

Great day had by all, most of the scones jam and cream were eaten on Sunday after the presentation. Thanks Deb for doing the scones.

Thank you to Paula and Andrew of Breakaway Twin Rivers Caravan Park for looking after us .. it was fantastic …

41 Fish were caught..

Advance Party KAC arrives for Trout Opening …Goulburn River

On a drive around the district on the weekend we dropped in at the Malmsbury Hotel for lunch, Great meal and we met up with Michel (Publican) and Franky ( Bar Manager) for a chat … they gave us a $50 voucher to support the club.. What a nice place to visit and they have a great room and venue for special events and or occasions ….the village of Malmsbury has a country vibe.. and is close to all the local waterways and attractions…

Check it out and we will be back…say hello to Michel, Franky or Scott…
